Frankfurt, April 5, 2022 – QUANTREFY and Madaster, the cadastre for building materials, are working together: The two companies are entering into a data partnership. Quantrefy integrates Madaster’s online solution for the circular use of products and materials into its own ESG implementation platform. Through the partnership, Quantrefy’s platform will then map not only the CO2 emissions of buildings, but also the CO2 bound in the building materials as well as the recycled content of the buildings.

Justus Wiedemann, CEO and founder of QUANTREFY: “Our platform records the operational CO2 of a property, while Madaster maps the bound CO2 of this property with its material register. Through the partnership, both aspects come together for the first time – the building can now be considered over its entire life cycle. This enables our customers to take an extremely consistent, holistic ESG approach.”

Madaster’s platform allows buildings, including the materials and products inside them, to be registered. QUANTREFY is the first ESG platform in the world to analyze building data while providing users with solutions to improve the ESG performance of their portfolio.

Dr. Patrick Bergmann, Managing Director of Madaster: “Sustainability in the real estate sector must always be thought of on multiple levels. Therefore, we are very pleased to be able to provide our users with a holistic overview of their buildings as well as potential optimization opportunities in the three ESG dimensions in the future through our cooperation with QUANTREFY.”
